ATTRITORS DRY GRINDING   

 
Dry Grinding Attritor are designed and manufactured in batch operating as well as continuous operation. Compare to Ball Mill, they are compact so the required less  space  and low in cost. Batch types Attritor are faster and more efficient in comparison to Ball Mill. But it has limitation of feed material size with respect to Ball Mill.
 

1) BATCH ATTRITOR

In Batch Attritor, the material is charged from top of the grinding chamber and to grounded for certain period to achieve desired fineness than it will be discharged from bottom discharge screen and suitable discharge valve. The  grinding  effect  is  created  in Attritor in  a  stationary  tank  grinding chamber by random motion of grinding media achieved  by agitator with vertical shaft having horizontal arms.

2) CONTINUOUS ATTRITOR

In continuous  Attritor, the  material  is charged  from  top of  the grinding chamber and passes through agitating grinding media, where it is grinded to the  desired  particle  size than it  is discharged  through discharging screen from grinding chamber.
