KNEADER – EXTRUDERS  
 
The Sigma Blade Mixer is having ‘ W ‘ shape  trough  and includes two blades that rotate towards each other at differential speeds. Each blade moves material in opposite directions and at differential flow rate in turn provides  efficient  cross  mixing.  The   blade rotate maintaining  close uniform  tolerances 

between  blade  and  trough  inner  surface. Due to minimum  clearances  between  blade  and  trough  wall  it creates high shearing effect in material and size reduction of solid materials.

Discharging of kneader is generally done by tilting the trough by means  of  screw- Nut or gearing mechanism or by hydroelectric operation.

The kneader extruder includes two counter rotating kneading blades and discharge screw. The blades are provided in horizontal axis on both sides of U shaped. trough. Screw is provided in cavity below blades and parallel with blade axis.

During mixing both blades rotate opposite to each other and screw rotates in reverse direction. Constantly feeding materials in the mixing blades.

During  discharging  operation, screw rotates in reverse direction pushing material outside from trough towards discharge port.
